New Labour Contract (After Entry)-UAE

• New e-contracts and e-labour cards replaced the old plastic cards and paper contracts with effect from 13/07/2014. • Emirates ID will be the new identification document of employees. Emirates ID card will not be issued to workers who do not have Labour Card from the ministry. At the time labour inspection, only Emirates ID to be shown to the inspectors. • Application for e-Labour card and Contract should be submitted through Tas’heel Service Centers within 60 days from the workers' entry in the UAE. • Companies that delay applying will be fined Dh1,000 for each month of delay. • Employers and workers can print their e-Labour card and contract through 'e-netwasal' service which is available on the ministry’s web page www.mol.gov.ae. • Required Documents for Labour Contract Application at Tas'heel Centre: • Copy of Employment Visa • Copy of Passport • Copy of Medical Fitness Certificate • Copy of Trade License • Copy of Labour Establishment Card  • One photograph with white background• Salary details (basic, allowance (if any), Type of Contract (limited or unlimited) STEPS TO FOLLOW (AFTER ENTRY) Type Medical and Emirates ID application and first go for Medical Test and then do fingerprint for Emirates ID After receiving Medical Certificate type Labour Contract from Tas'heel Centre and Visa Stamping application from Typing Centre. Labour Contract Typing charge Dh53 should be paid at Tas'heel Centre. No government fee. • Visa Fee: Dh410 for 2 years Urgent mode. Normal Fees not available. (new fees effective from 01/08/2014). Typing charge extra.   Get seal and signature of the sponsor and employee on the Labour Contract and submit through Tas'heel Centre. Submission charge Dh40 should be paid at Tas'heel Centre. Get seal and signature of the sponsor on Visa stamping application, Attach Tas'heel receipt and Emirates ID application copy and submit at Immigration Department along with Original Passport. Visa will be stamped same time and you can collect the passport. ELECTRONIC COPY: Electronic Labour Card and Labour Contract can be printed from www.mol.gov.ae after 48 hours from the time of submission at Tas'heel Centre. Labour Card and Labour Contract within 24 Hours: If you pay Dh53 extra at Tas'heel Centre at the time of submission, you can collect your original Labour Contract and Labour Card by next working day from the same Tas'heel Centre. • Employers and workers can print e-Labour card and contract through 'e-netwasal' service which is available on the ministry’s web page www.mol.gov.ae. • Application for e-Labour card and Contract should be submitted through Tas’heel Service Centers within 60 days from the workers' entry in the UAE. FINE: Companies that delay applying will be fined Dh1,000 for each month of delay. FINE at Immigration: Dh25 per day (after 60 days from the date of entry / Status Change).
